I’d spied two cockroaches in the kitchen. Some readers know of my animosity towards rodents. Iqbal has known this forever.
Me: “See these stupid cockroaches. Season has started. I hate this sooooo much yaaaa.. (crankily), couldn’t you remember to purchase the flit?”
DH: “What is flit?”
Me: “It is a pesticide. Something like PifPaf.”
DH: “If I knew what it was, I would have bought it and first sprayed it on you.”
Me: “If I knew you had bought it, I would have emptied all on you.”
(Iqbal continued watching tv…….. I continued complaining…… He finally came to help me with killing cockroaches….. cleaning the kitchen….. flushing drainage….. hunting for infested areas…. )

I’m glad I stumbled this blog. The post Love, True Love so inspires me to write of a conversation I had with my husband a few months ago. It was so cute and it was so like “Love…“. And yes, this is a pinnacle in a marriage. Here’s where a couple understands that this is really really love.

44. What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up today? – Why is my baby not kicking? 6:30 AM is baby’s kicking time and it goes on until I’ve eaten. Today I woke up at 6:30, waited in bed for baby to kick, tried lying on my back and maintained the position for 45 mins- cuz thats how I can feel the movement’s most. No kick telling me, “I’m hungry, feed yourself” until now. Think I will start monitoring fetal movements for more insight into my baby’s ways in the baby diary.
